Very pleasant atmosphere and surrounding areas.
Bathroom and TV facilities were old.

The hotel was easy to find. Situated in a very pretty area of CT. The layout and landscaping were very attractive, with a 9 hole course behind the hotel. The room was comfortable, however the TV and the Bathroom facilities were pretty out of date. ...read more

The hotel was very clean & everyone was extremely pleasant.
The room was small. The bathroom was clean but didn't have any hooks to hang clothing or damp towels.

Clean & friendly, but definitely not in the same category as a Sheraton or Westin.

The feel/atmosphere of the hotel, very lodge like.
The parking lot, didn't seem well maintained in winter.

Overall, I was very happy with the hotel, the design, feel, location, all worked well to make a pleasent experience.

The setting in the montains were great.
Small rooms.

Older place but the surroundings were great, situated in the mountain and on a golf course, very beautiful. Very large dinning room with view of the outside.

Good location and facilities
Sunday night service at bar unsat; received wrong order, notified both waiters of the error- was still charged for it.

Good: location, facilities, decent rooms. Reception staff efficent.Not good: old convention facility. Public areas need paint and general freshening. Waitstaff we ran across simply didn't care.

The gardens, architecture, meals available at poolside, decor
I had a little trouble finding my way to the pool and back to my room.

The service and facilities were excellent. I liked the family atmosphere and found the staff and guests friendly. I enjoyed my stay very much.
